Why this site exists
Most people who search for Torres del Paine believe seeing the park means the five-day W Trek: hard walking, refugio beds that sell out months ahead. Twelve seasons of watching visitors arrive taught me otherwise. A guided day tour shows you the towers, the Cuernos, Salto Grande and the icebergs on the Grey Lake beach with hotel pickup and the entrance fee handled — and plenty of my happiest passengers never walked more than an hour. The other trap I kept explaining at the gate: park tickets are sold in advance online through CONAF, not at the entrance. So I built this site to do what I’d do in the van — match you to the right rung, from a three-hour glacier sailing to the full W, and be straight about wind, distances and effort at each one. How I work
